Pricing, availability, and how we start.
I design SaaS dashboards, AI product interfaces and mobile apps for founders and product teams. Prices start at $500 for a UX audit, $2,500 for SaaS dashboard design and $3,000 for AI product design, or $39 an hour. I'm taking new projects now and can start within one to two weeks.

Starting prices
Every project is scoped in writing before any paid work begins, so you know the price up front.
- UX audit from $500: a ranked list of fixes for your key flows, tied to one metric
- SaaS dashboard design from $2,500: information architecture, high-fidelity screens and developer handoff
- AI product design from $3,000: chat, scoring, recommendation and agent interfaces people trust
- Hourly work at $39 an hour for ongoing design support or smaller changes
- A free 3-point teardown before any of these, so you can judge the work first
When I can start
I'm taking new projects now and can usually start within one to two weeks. I work 30+ hours a week, remotely from India, with comfortable overlap for teams in the US, UK, Europe and the Middle East.
I work on freelance projects, consulting engagements and full-time roles.
Teams I do my best work with
- Founders of SaaS, AI, fintech or healthcare startups shipping a new product or a redesign
- Product teams whose signups, activation or conversion have stalled and who need to know why
- Teams adding AI features that users don't yet trust or use
- Companies that need a designer who can own design end to end, from research to developer handoff
It's probably not a fit if you need a brand identity only, a print project, or design work with no link to a product metric.
How we start
- Send your product URL and the one metric you want to move through the teardown form below, or email hello@thetejasshah.com.
- I review it personally and reply by email with three prioritised fixes, free.
- If you want to go further, I send a written scope with deliverables, timeline and price.
- We agree on the success metric, then I audit, wireframe the risky flows and design in Figma.
- Handoff includes tokens, annotations and edge cases, and I keep iterating on what the data shows after launch.
Why teams pick me
I have 6+ years of product design experience and 47+ shipped products across AI, fintech, healthcare, edtech and B2B SaaS. At Zoftware, where I lead product design, the platform was named First Runner-Up, Best AI Product at AI Summit UAE 2025. I'm Top Rated on Upwork with a 5.0 rating, and I started in Chartered Accountancy, so every design decision is tied to a number the business tracks.
See AI product design, SaaS dashboard design and the UX audit for details on each service.
The first step is free, a 3-point teardown.
Send your product URL and the one metric you want to move. I review it personally and reply by email with three specific, prioritised fixes.
- 01A written review, not a sales call
- 02Three fixes, ranked by impact on your metric
- 03Yours to keep, whether we work together or not
I'll look at your product with that metric in mind and reply to your email with three prioritised fixes.
